The 8th International Conference on Phthiraptera will showcase the latest research on parasitic lice and louse-borne pathogens and endosymbionts. All aspects of theory, principles, methodology, and practice will be addressed.

Registration
The fee for regular participants will be €450 per person.
Registration for students will be €250.

Accomodations
There is not a designated hotel for this conference, but they are many hotels in the area.
We recommanded the Radisson Bus Hotel in the direction of the Old Port, the Ibis in the direction of Timone, and the Staycity accomodations.

The International Conference on Phthiraptera (parasitic lice) will be holding its 8 th quadrennial meeting on June 10 th -13 th , 2025, in Marseille, France. This meeting promises to deliver an exciting scientific program and will bring together clinicians, veterinary scientists, evolutionary biologists, and aims to advance the study of lice and louse-borne diseases in all aspects of theory, principles, methodology, and practice.
The 2025 local organizers Prof. Olivier Chosidow (La Pitié Salpêtrière Hospital, Paris, France), Dr. Bernard Davoust and Prof. Pierre-Edouard Fournier (Mediterranee Infection Institute, Marseille, France), as well as the program chairs Prof. Sarah E. Bush (University of Utah, USA), Dr. Kevin P. Johnson (University of Illinois, USA), Dr. Oleg Mediannikov (Mediterranee Infection Institute, Marseille, France) and Prof. Kosta Y. Mumcuoglu (Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel), are currently organizing an exciting scientific program.
